Research & Projects

Numerous entities, including government agencies, non-government organizations, academia, and private industry, have spent the last 30 years researching zebra and quagga mussels and undertaking efforts to prevent and control the spread of these species. While much has been learned, there is still more work to be done. Active research, monitoring and management programs are underway across North America. The links below will provide more information and connections to researchers, ongoing programs, site-specific projects, relevant publications and events, and opportunities to engage with others on these efforts.
