CSISS provides outreach to communities, aquatic industry, and visiting tourists, about preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species.
CSISS also monitors for invasive mussel veligers and adults through plankton and substrate sampling. CSISS samples 12 waterbodies within the Columbia Shuswap Regional District.
