This webinar examines a variety of voluntary and mandatory programs in order to present resource managers with a suite of options for watercraft inspection and decontamination.

- Quagga D, Pacific State Marine Fisheries Commission
- D has been on contract for Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission’s Aquatic Invasive Species program since 2008, teaching the AIS Industry for the 19 Western States and several Canadian Provinces the procedures on Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination. D has attended the Western Regional Panel annual meetings for several years, serving on committees such as Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination Training Material, Uniform Minimum Protocols and Standard (UMPS III) revision, and the Building Consensus Outreach Effort.
- Dave Wick, Lake George Park Commission
- Dave Wick is the Executive Director of the Lake George Park Commission, which is a small NYS state agency solely dedicated to the long-term protection of Lake George. He has been serving in this role since 2012, after 20 years as District Manager of Warren County Soil and Water Conservation. In his role at the Park Commission, Dave has been heavily engaged in invasive species issues on Lake George including the creation of a lake-wide mandatory boat inspection program and oversight of several invasive species control programs. Dave has a Master’s Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from the University of Wyoming.
- Meg Modley, New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission, Lake Champlain Basin Program
- As the Aquatic Invasive Species Management Coordinator for the Lake Champlain Basin Program and New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission, Meg works to coordinate management efforts to prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) in the basin. She has worked for LCBP since 2003. Meg has a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Geology and a M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Vermont. Her work has included the development of a Lake Champlain Basin Aquatic Invasive Species Rapid Response Action Plan, implementing the Lake Champlain Basin Aquatic Nuisance Species Management Plan, supervising the Lake Champlain Boat Launch Steward Program, and working with local and regional partners on education and outreach campaigns for AIS. She is a member of the National ANS Task Force, co-chair of the Northeast Aquatic Nuisance Species Panel, and President elect of the Northeast Aquatic Plant Management Society.
